Hello, I’m Rose.
And I’m from East Sussex, UK.
I am an animal lover. Moreover, I am a proud vegan who finds joy in reading, exploring, and learning about every facet of the vegan lifestyle.
Saving animals is at the heart of my mission. I stopped eating meat at thirteen in 1982, over 48 years ago.
This followed a school visit to a chicken farm and an eye‑opening slaughterhouse tour in my local market town.
Those experiences shaped my understanding of compassion and set me on the path I’m still walking today.
I’m passionate about sharing knowledge of veganism in a way that feels fun, light‑hearted, and friendly. Additionally, I believe making veganism accessible is essential.
I refer to myself as an ‘ Ethegan ‘. Moreover, I coined the term to help people understand that I am Vegan due to ethics first. Additionally, it saves me from repeating the phrase about animals’ welfare and is a fun way to start conversations.

My Aims:
This website is intended to be a welcoming space where we can all learn, share, and develop together through meaningful dialogue. This approach invites collaboration and respect for diverse viewpoints. We aim to create a thoughtful community where everyone can contribute.
I don’t pretend to know everything or have all the answers. Nevertheless, I see this as a journey we take side by side. We discover new ideas and celebrate the culture of kindness together, day by day. Together we grow.
My hope is to inspire curiosity and celebrate creativity. I also want to show that vegan living is a lifestyle filled with joy, connection, and compassion.
