  • 1 cup wholemeal flour (or oat flour)
  • ½ cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or coconut oil
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • Pinch of cinnamon & nutmeg

  1. Prep the dates: Soak in hot water until soft, then mash into a paste.
  2. Mix the dry ingredients: Combine flour, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and walnuts in a bowl.

  4. Bake: Pour into a greased baking dish and bake at 180°C for 25–30 minutes, until firm and golden.
